Discover Trentino’s Dolomites and Nature Parks

Walking is the most authentic way to tune into nature, and Camping Val Rendena is the perfect base from which to start your excursions. Our strategic location in the heart of Val Rendena opens the doors to a world of trails winding through the wonders of the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello-Brenta Natural Park.

Trekking is an activity suitable for everyone: an opportunity to exercise, regenerate body and mind, and create precious memories, even with children. Whether you are an experienced hiker looking for peaks to conquer or a family desiring a relaxing stroll, the surroundings of Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo offer an infinite choice of paths for every level.

Upon your arrival, we will be happy to recommend the most suitable trails for you and provide all the information necessary for your trekking day. Your adventure begins here.

  • Nardis Waterfalls: Located 20 km from our campsite is the starting point for the Nardis Waterfalls trail. A low-altitude hike through woods and breathtaking landscapes, leading to the most spectacular waterfalls of the Adamello Brenta. Also recommended for families with children.
  • Lago Nambino Refuge: About 30 km from Darè, you can embark on one of the most suggestive walks in the area. The path is easy with very little elevation gain, spanning a length of approximately 5 km.
  • Malga Ritorto Refuge: A nature trip to one of the most beautiful mountain huts in the Adamello Brenta Natural Park. Starting from Patascoss (only 3 km from Madonna di Campiglio), you undertake a fascinating walk with suggestive views. It is very easy, taking less than 1 hour, until you reach Malga Ritorto where you can find refreshment and relaxation. Near the hut, you will also find "La Regina" educational farm, another great place for families where little ones can get closer to nature and meet animals.
  • Campiglio Loop: A particularly easy itinerary with minimal elevation changes, highly recommended for families with children. It takes about 2.5 hours covering 6.8 km, but it is easy to cut short as the path is a circular loop around Campiglio, allowing you to reconnect to the town center at numerous points.
  • Doss del Sabion: Just 10 km from our campsite, you can undertake this suggestive medium-difficulty walk with a breathtaking view of the Brenta. Although the route takes about 5 hours given its 11 km length, we highly recommend it for families as well. Once you arrive, children can have fun in a fantastic playground; it is the ideal place for a tasty picnic lunch together while enjoying a beautiful day at high altitude.

For those who love challenges and sport, we suggest participating in the via ferrata routes organized in many of the locations neighboring Darè. The "ferrata" is very popular in Trentino because it offers a perfect balance between difficulty and enjoyment. There is no better way to experience the hiking panorama of the Brenta!
